As a courtesy, we review each patient’s insurance policy and determine if we are in-network. We do want each patient to understand the potential out of pocket costs associated with their visit so there are no surprises.
Before the visit, it is important for the patient to communicate with their insurance provider and obtain a clear understanding of what their insurance policy covers. It is also essential for the patient to comprehend how their visit to a sleep medicine doctor will affect their deductible and coverage costs.
First off, thank you so much for choosing us for your sleep needs. We are a startup medical practice so there may be a few kinks we still have to straighten out – please be patient with us!
Here are some important tips to follow before your appointment to ensure a smooth and efficient visit:
If you have had a sleep study in the past, please make sure to bring your report with you or have it readily available for your first visit.
If you have a PAP (positive airway pressure) device (ie. CPAP, BiPAP, ASV), please make sure to bring this with you to your first appointment as well.
